Setting it up in OBS

Add a Browser source and paste the streaming URL into it. A width of 1280 by 720 suits most layouts. Leave “Shutdown source when not visible” off if you want the wheel to keep its state between scenes.

The background is transparent by default, so no colour key is needed — drop the source over your scene and the wheel sits on top of it. Add ?background=1 if you would rather have the page background back.

Driving it during a stream

Interact with the browser source and press the space bar, or click the Spin button. R spins again and Escape closes anything that is open. The result stays on screen in large type after the spin, so a clip of the moment is readable.

Because everything is in the URL, the same scene comes back identically after a restart. Nothing is read from browser storage, which is what you want on a machine you may be streaming from as a different user.

URL settings

Append a wheel with #w=… from the Share panel. Then: theme=neon or any other theme id, duration=4000 for the spin length in milliseconds, sound=1 to allow audio, celebration=0 to turn off the confetti, remove=1 to drop each winner from the wheel as it is drawn, background=1 for an opaque page.

Streaming mode carries no advertising at all. Nothing about the layout shifts once it has loaded, which matters when the source is composited into a live scene.
