How to use this template

  1. Import your entrant list as a TXT or CSV file — the file is read in your browser and never uploaded.
  2. Press “Remove duplicates” before you spin. Double entries quietly double somebody’s odds.
  3. Spin for the winner, then keep “Remove winner” going to draw your alternates in order.
  4. Open “Draw history”, download the CSV, and keep it with your promotion records.

What people use it for

  • Social media giveaways drawn live so the process is visible.
  • Raffle draws at an event, on the big screen.
  • Choosing a beta tester from a sign-up list.
  • Drawing a winner plus two alternates in case the first cannot be reached.

Frequently asked questions

How many entrants can go on one wheel?

Up to 5,000. Above about 100 the labels shorten to fit, and past 500 the wheel shows colour bands while the entry list keeps the names — the draw itself is unaffected at any size.

Can I prove the draw was fair?

You can show how it works: the winner is drawn from the browser’s cryptographic random source before the wheel moves, and the run-on-screen record is downloadable. What no browser tool can give you is an independent audit, so for a regulated promotion follow the rules that apply to it.

Do you keep a copy of my entrant list?

No. The list is processed in your browser and never sent to us. That also means we cannot re-run or recover a past draw for you — download the history at the time.

Should I share the wheel link with entrants?

Think carefully. A wheel link carries the entries, so sharing one shares the entrant list with everybody who receives it. Use “Share the tool only” if you just want to point people at WheelToss.
