Who Goes First Wheel
Every game starts with the same thirty seconds of negotiation. Put the names on the wheel, spin once, and start playing.

How to use this template
- Replace the placeholders with the real names — one per line.
- Spin once for who starts. “Remove the winner after each spin” is already on, so spinning again gives you second, third and the rest of the order.
- If you only want the first player, switch that setting off and spin once.
- Press F for full screen so everyone at the table can see the pointer land.
- Save the wheel if the same people play regularly.
What people use it for
- Board games, where “youngest goes first” has stopped being funny.
- Presentation and demo order in a meeting.
- Draft order for a fantasy league or a pick-up team.
- Deciding who explains the rules, who deals, and who tidies up afterwards.
- Turn order for a tournament bracket, spun in front of everyone.
Frequently asked questions
Does it give me the whole turn order or just the first player?
Both. With “Remove the winner after each spin” on, each spin takes the next place in the order and the drawn name leaves the wheel. Switch it off if you only ever want a first player.
Is one position on the wheel luckier than another?
No. The winner is drawn before the wheel starts turning and the animation is calculated to land on it, so where a name sits on the wheel has no effect at all.
Can I do this without a wheel?
The random order generator shuffles the whole list into an order in one step, which is faster when nobody needs to watch it happen.
How do I start a new round?
Reload the saved wheel, or press the reset control in the entries panel to put every removed name back on.
