Random Number Wheel 1-10
Ten numbers, ten wide slices. Small enough that everyone can read the wheel from where they are sitting — which is the whole reason to spin a number rather than generate one.

How to use this template
- Spin as it is for a number from 1 to 10.
- Delete or switch off the numbers you do not want — take 10 off and it is a 1-to-9 wheel.
- Turn on “Remove the winner after each spin” to draw each number once, which is how you get a random order rather than repeated picks.
- Press F for full screen before you spin in front of a room.
What people use it for
- Picking a page, a question number or a table number in class.
- Rating rounds and icebreakers — “spin, and tell us your number for the week”.
- A stand-in for a ten-sided die in a game that has lost its dice.
- Choosing how many of something: reps, minutes, questions.
- Picking which of ten numbered envelopes, boxes or cards gets opened.
Frequently asked questions
Why spin a wheel instead of generating a number?
For an audience. A generator prints a number and everyone has to take your word for it; a wheel shows a slice being landed on. When you are alone, the random number generator is quicker and handles any range.
How do I get a different range, like 1 to 6 or 1 to 50?
Edit the entries for a small change, spin the 1-100 wheel for a bigger one, or use the random number generator, which takes any minimum and maximum and can draw several at once.
Does each of the ten numbers really come up a tenth of the time?
With equal weights, yes. You do not have to take that on trust either — the randomness audit page runs thousands of draws in your browser and shows you the distribution it produced.
